The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) submitted its investigative report on Sheikh Hasina’s July Massacre on February 12. The 114-page English report provides a detailed account of how, under the directives of what it describes as the fascist Hasina, her forces carried out mass killings against ordinary citizens. Experts believe this report will pave the way for prosecuting Hasina’s indiscriminate murders and massacres.

A team of translators, led by Sharif Osman Bin Hadi, spokesperson for Inquilab Mancha, is currently working on translating this crucial document into Bengali. According to sources, the translation process is in its final stages and will soon be published.

To complete the task efficiently, 18 translators were divided into two groups—one consisting of 10 members responsible for translation and another group of 8 members handling editing.

Before taking on this initiative, Sharif Osman Bin Hadi made a Facebook post stating:

“The UN has released a 114-page report on the July Massacre, which is the final nail in the coffin of the Khuni League (Murder League). Inquilab Mancha is taking the initiative to translate this report into Bengali and distribute it across the country. We even plan to inscribe its first page on the tombstones of League leaders as their epitaph. We need skilled translators for this project. While we cannot offer substantial compensation, we encourage those proficient in English-Bengali translation to step forward. Please comment or inbox us if you are interested.”

His post garnered overwhelming support, with hundreds of volunteers responding. From them, 18 skilled translators were selected, who are now working tirelessly to complete this commendable initiative.
