Bangladesh off-spinner Aliss Al Islam has been reported for a suspected bowling action following the tri-series match against Afghanistan in Sharjah.
The ICC said the match officials’ report raised concerns about the legality of the 29-year-old’s action. Under the regulations, he will undergo an independent assessment at an ICC-accredited testing centre.
Aliss made his ODI debut in the match and finished wicketless, conceding 47 runs in 8.3 overs. Bangladesh lost by seven wickets and were eliminated from the tri-series.
